Injection moulding is the process that moulds plastic through heat and pressure, by injecting molten plastic polymer into the desired mould.
Injection moulding is the most commonly used process for moulding plastics because it gives a good surface finish and can be used for very complex mouldings. Injection moulding. Injection moulded plastics are invariably thermoplastics because thermosetting plastics assume their final shape through heat and so can not be moulded with this process. Familiar products manufactured by injection moulding include: computer enclosures, milk crates, CD cases, mobile phones and fascia's etc.
The plastics that are used in injection moulding include: polythene, low density polyethylene (LDPE), high density polyethylene (HDPE), polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP) and acrylonitrilebutadienestyrene (ABS). |

Products - Vacuum Forming Thermoforming is a general term used to define the process where by a plastic sheet is heated to a defined temperature and moulded to a desired shape. Heating is by electrical resistance and forming by a mould using vacuum, air pressure, or a combination of both.

Continuous fibre thermoplastic composites have a history of about 20 years and it differs from discontinuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites such as LFRT and GMT in terms of fibre length. Historically, continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites were used in niche applications in aerospace and defence market. But in recent years, the market has exploded in automotive, sporting, transportation, industrial and other applications.
Demand has been driven by a variety of aerospace, automotive and truck applications. However, continuous fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites are even finding their way into furniture, fastener, medical, marine, and other higher performance applications. Airbus has projected to increase the use of thermoplastic composites by 20% every year.
